In a historic moment, Manchester City won their first Champions League title with a 1-0 win over Inter Milan at the Ataturk Olimpiyat Stadium in Istanbul.

It was Rodri who proved himself to be the hero of Man City, when he scored the crucial goal in the 68th minute to seal the victory. This achievement marks the first time Manchester City has won the highest honor in European club football. Notably, for Pep Guardiola, this is the third time he has lifted the championship trophy, following his previous successes.

The road to victory was not without challenges as City suffered defeat after losing influential midfielder Kevin De Bruyne to injury in the first half of the game. However, the whole team gathered and showed their resilience to win the coveted trophy.

This victory represents the culmination of Manchester City's longstanding aspiration to establish itself as one of the elite teams in European football. Fifteen years ago, with the support of the ruling Abu Dhabi family, the club embarked on a journey of transformation to make it the kingdom of the richest football teams in the world.
