Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp still wants to invest in his midfield after signing Alexis Mac Allister.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is said to want to prioritize pursuing Manu Kone's transfer after the Red Devils confirmed the signing of Alexis Mac Allister. Klopp still wants to continue to strengthen his midfield and is said to believe that the young Borussia Mönchengladbach star should be his next target.
The Premier League side have identified the midfielder as a key area of interest ahead of the summer transfer window. A number of key midfielders struggled to hit form last season, while longtime players James Milner, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have all left. The arrival of Mac Allister was confirmed last week but Liverpool are keen to continue adding to Klopp's midfield options. A move for French U21 talent Kone will be the next priority.

The moves to add the midfielder come after Liverpool confirmed the arrival of Mac Allister from Brighton. The Red Devils have agreed a deal worth around £35m to sign the World Cup champions.
Klopp spoke enthusiastically about his new signing, telling the club's official website:
