Premier League and League Cup for 2017–18
With a 3-0 victory against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup final, Guardiola won his first trophy at City after a trophyless debut campaign. With a record 100 points, they went on to win the league championship in grand style.
2018–19: In a close title fight, domestic treble-winning City defeated Liverpool by 98 points to 97. They defeated Chelsea on penalties to win the Carabao Cup, and they also defeated Watford 6-0 in the FA Cup final.
Liverpool won the title in the pandemic-interrupted season, and City was unable to successfully defend their title. However, they did not go empty-handed after defeating Aston Villa 2-1 in the Carabao Cup final.
Premier League and League Cup in 2020–21
After a 15-match winning streak between December and March, Guardiola's team superbly controlled their tempo during yet another season afflicted by the coronavirus to win the Premier League with three games remaining. They defeated Tottenham to win their fourth straight Carabao Cup, but because they fell to Chelsea in the final, they nearly missed out on the Champions League.
Premier League in 2021–2022.
City started the month of April looking for three trophies. Due to losses to Real Madrid and Liverpool, their prospects of winning the Champions League and FA Cup were both dashed in the semi-final stage.
Erling Haaland's incredible goal-scoring feats gave City the boost they needed in the spring to catch up to longtime leaders Arsenal and win their fifth championship in six years. Ilkay Gundogan scored twice to defeat Manchester United 2-1 in the FA Cup final, while Rodri's second-half goal helped City defeat Inter Milan to win the Champions League, replicating their opponents' 1998–1999 triple.I gave a speech before they left, and I stuck to what I said.
