Man City smash record for prize money bonuses after winning the treble
Manchester City will pour another huge amount of money after beating Inter Milan 1-0 in the Champions League final last night.
The Citizens became the second English team to win the treble, equaling the 1999 record of rivals Manchester United.
Rodri's goal in the 68th minute was all that divided the two teams and emotions ran high throughout the game.

Last night's win helped the club pocket £95m, bringing their total value for the season to almost £280m, according to The Mirror. Advertisement
This is the whopping £180m they earned by winning their third consecutive Premier League title last month and the £3.9m they have earned after beating United in the FA Cup final. last week.
Not that City need it, but the money is certainly enough to fund whatever they spend this summer transfer window as they look to build on historic success.
Speaking to BT Sport after the win, Guardiola said:
“This contest is a coin (toss). But we were there.
"I think it was written in the stars this season that he was ours and we made it."
