When their contracts expire later this month, Adam Forshaw and Joel Robles will be released, according to Leeds.
Midfielder Forshaw, 31, has been with the team for the last five and a half years, but a hip issue has plagued him and has prevented him from playing for 22 months starting in October 2019.
Robles, a 32-year-old goalkeeper, started Leeds' final four Premier League games of the season after joining on a free transfer from Real Betis in the summer. Stuart McKinstry, a midfielder, was also let go.
The following players will be released when their contracts expire: Will Brook, Adam Forshaw, Stuart McKinstry, and Joel Robles, Leeds announced while announcing their retained list.
When the first team returns in July, Adam Forshaw and Joel Robles have both been invited back to the club for preseason practice.
Forshaw signed to a one-year contract extension in 2022, and the club decided not to exercise the option of a further year. Forshaw made 12 Premier League games for Leeds this season and over 100 overall.
After three seasons in the top division, Leeds was demoted to the Championship last month.
