According to reports, LEEDS defender Robin Koch is BANNED from playing in the Championship next season.
The German centre-back, 26, has a clause in his contract that allows him to leave Elland Road on a free form this summer after they are relegated to the second division.
But if that wasn't enough to secure his exit, Bild understands his deal also contains a clause that he is not allowed to play in the Championship.
Koch joined Leeds from Freiburg following promotion to the Premier League in 2020.
He made 77 appearances for the Yorkshire side, helping them finish ninth in their first season back in the top flight. Manager Marcelo Bielsa, who led Leeds to promotion, was sacked during the 2021/22 campaign, before narrowly being relegated under Jesse Marsch.
But Sam Allardyce failed to achieve the same goal 12 months later, having won only 1 point in the last 4 games, sending them down to the bottom 3 of the table and unable to reach a safe position.
And now they have no manager as they prepare to return to the Championship.
Former Norwich manager Daniel Farke and West Brom head coach Carlos Corberan have both been linked with the vacancy.
After ending his shortest managerial tenure in Premier League history, Allardyce said:
“It is an honor to lead Leeds United, a fantastic club with an incredible fan base that deserves to be in the Premier League. Most read football
"I really enjoyed working with the staff and players at the club and would like to thank Angus Kinnear for this opportunity.
“I would also like to acknowledge the outstanding work of Karl Robinson and Robbie Keane, who have worked tirelessly over the past few weeks.
"At this stage in my career I'm not sure if I can commit to this challenge, it could be a long-term project, but I wish the club every success in the future. will return to the Premier League, where they belong."
