Manchester United target Rasmus Hojlund has confirmed that he has signed with a new company, said to be similar to the one used by coach Erik ten Hag.
The Atalanta striker is one of many players United are monitoring to ease the scoring burden on Marcus Rashford next season.
The 20-year-old Hojlund impressed in his first season in Serie A, scoring nine goals in 32 appearances.
At around 6ft 1in, the striker has an imposing build, quickness and excellent aerial combat - and has also exploded on the international scene this season.
He scored his first hat-trick for Denmark in a 31 win over Finland in March, and was followed by scoring both goals in a 32 loss to Kazakhstan three days later. According to the Daily Mirror, Ten Hag has put Hojlund - a childhood supporter of United - on a shortlist of six players at Old Trafford, and the player is said to be eager to leave.
Now, the Dane may have offered another hint that he could be joining United soon.
Hojlund confirms agent change
Hojlund told local media in Denmark:
"I have someone [an agency company]. But they're in beta. It's in beta, and that's all I can say."
Athletic's Laurie Whitwell earlier this month that the Danish striker has signed with management company SEG, who also represent coach Erik ten Hag. It is claimed he made the decision due to expectations of a transfer 'in his short and medium term future'.
Ten Hag has been with the company for a long time, as confirmed by SEG when congratulating the Dutchman on his appointment as United boss on LinkedIn:
"Congratulations to Erik ten Hag on this big step in your career. We've been proud to have been a part of this journey from the start."
Whitwell also reports that company co-founder Kees Vos regularly visits Old Trafford and watches the club's 2-1 win over Fulham on the final day of the Premier League season.
