The Manchester Evening News reported earlier today that the 22-year-old is set to leave United ahead of the summer transfer window.

"Although my time @manchesterunited is over, I have nothing but pride in my journey so far with all the experiences and achievements that I have gained along the way.
“I would like to express my deep gratitude to all the staff I met who met me when I was a boy and taught me so many lessons and helped me grow into the person I am today.
"For my teammates, you are brothers for life. I want to thank you for pushing me every day and making me a better player. My experiences and memories Having with you will be etched in my memory forever.
"Now I'm looking forward to seeing where the next chapter of my life will take me." Bernard left United after making just one first team appearance, meeting Astana in the group stage of the Europa League 2019/2020.

Fabrizio Romano has provided a fresh update on Reiss Nelson as Arsenal are now expecting the youngster to sign a new long-term contract this week.
Contract negotiations have been raging for some time between the club and Nelson's representatives.
Although only playing as an extra this season, the 23-year-old player is still highly appreciated at the club and coach Mikel Arteta.
Romano clarified that negotiations have progressed well and that he should now draft a new agreement.
"Arsenal hope Reiss Nelson will sign a new long-term contract this week," Romano confirmed on Twitter. "An agreement in principle has been reached on a four-year contract with the option of a one-season extension. He has received offers from Italian, French and English clubs.
This will certainly be good news for Arsenal fans as they hope to see more of Nelson in the future.
The 23-year-old has made 11 Premier League appearances this year, including 11 coming off the bench.
During this time, he has scored three goals and provided two assists to showcase his talent.
His best moment of the season was against Bournemouth in March, when he scored the winning goal in the 97th minute. “After his loan spell last year, we want him back to see if there are any changes, and there is the prospect that we can really take him to the next level. ,” said Arteta on the club's official website.
"We thought the potential was there and we thought we saw something special in Reiss.
"He's part of our academy system and now he's going to get his chance. He's been out for almost three months with injury, now he's back, fully fit and ready to go. He's ready to play, he just needs to rest for a few minutes. "His attitude and the way he's grown and developed over the past year is really impressive, I think everyone talks about that and now he has to do it on the pitch."
Nelson hopes to find a more regular position over the next few years at the club.
Capable of playing on both flanks, you can see why a coach like Arteta would want to keep Nelson around for the foreseeable future.
