Leigh Bromby has resigned from his position as sporting director, according to Huddersfield.
The 43-year-old, who joined the Sky Bet Championship team in 2014 as an academy coach before being promoted to academy manager in 2018, has been in charge of football strategy for the previous four years.
To "refresh" the Terriers, head goalkeeper Paul Clements has also left John Smith's Stadium.
Huddersfield was in danger of being relegated for the whole of last season, but once manager Neil Warnock was hired in February, the team managed to comfortably survive.
On behalf of the club, I would like to congratulate Leigh for his accomplishments over his extended affiliation with Huddersfield Town, Terriers chief executive Jake Edwards said on the club's website.
After serving as academy manager, Bromby, 42, took up the position in the summer of 2020 and was in charge of football strategy.
Before beginning to work with the first team in 2017, Clements, 38, first worked with the academy keepers.
It comes after Jake Edwards' hiring as CEO on Monday.
In a statement, Edwards congratulated both coaches and referred to the personnel transition as "a fresh start" as Kevin Nagle's acquisition of the team from current owner Dean Hoyle neared completion.
has passed the owners' and directors' test of the English Football League, but the 100% transfer of ownership has been postponed while he waits for approval from a statutory government authority.
After being released by Middlesbrough, the 30-year-old was hired in January on a six-month contract.
In the second part of the previous campaign, he made 16 appearances and scored twice as Town earned promotion from League One.
I'm happy to stay, and I think representing the team in the Championship will be fantastic," Luongo said, according to the Ipswich website.
