As many believed Didier Deschamps would resign after the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Zidane was mentioned as a potential candidate to lead France.

After his team's failure to successfully defend their World Cup title against Argentina, football fans throughout the world believed Deschamps would step down from the position.

Nevertheless, the French Football Federation announced that Deschamps had renewed his contract, keeping him in that position till June 2026.

Zidane is, however, open to the idea of managing the French national team in the future.

Zidane remarked, "I've often said that when you know the France team as a player and you become a coach, it's just logical to think about it," in an interview with GQ Magazine.

But now is not the right time. I wanted to travel to Bordeaux while I was in Cannes. Then, because it was a unique and powerful feeling each time, I wanted to play for Juve and then Madrid. It's simply known as ambition. I've always had aspirations and had confidence in my abilities. I rush.'

'I don't generally prepare anything; I just do what feels right,' Zidane continued. Regarding my initial stop in Madrid. I had completed 2.5 years 'a tope' (completely), as we say in

Zidane could therefore take over because he became one of the most well-known figures in management during his tenure at Real Madrid.

Real Madrid's new manager, Zinedine Zidane, rose to prominence after taking over in January 2016. He led the Spanish powerhouse to three straight Champions League triumphs and the LaLiga championship in 2017.

He left his position in 2018, but less than a year later, after Madrid's brief, unsuccessful tenures under Julen Lopetegui and Santiago Solari, he returned.

Then, before departing from the team at the conclusion of the 2020–21 season, the French icon would add another league and cup double to his management résumé.

Massimiliano Allegri, whose contract with Juventus runs through 2025, is a barrier to moving to the Serie A team.

Additionally, Allegri is rumored to make about £6 million net per season. Allegri's firing may therefore cost the team about £18 million.

However, Juventus is reportedly becoming unhappy with Allegri and may soon remove him from his position.
