Ansu Fati wants to remain at Barcelona, according to agent Jorge Mendes, who also gave a cryptic update on Ruben Neves of Wolves.
In recent years, Fati has established himself as one of Barça's most successful La Masia academy graduates. In 109 games for the team, he has already scored 29 goals, and he won't even turn 21 until October.
But in recent months, speculations have suggested that La Blaugrana would sell Fati to raise money for incoming moves. Barcelona reportedly notified the winger in May that he might leave the team, and Mendes reportedly tried to arrange a trade that would send Neves to Camp Nou and Fati to Molineux.
However, Fati has thus far resisted efforts to leave Barcelona, as Mendes recently confirmed in an interview.
Jijantes was told repeatedly by Mendes, "Ansu wants to stay, he wants to stay,"
Mendes responded, "He has scored three goals in his last two games, what more do you want? " when asked if it indicates Fati will stay.
"I am sure he will win a Ballon d'Or. He is one of the best young players in the world."
