LIVERPOOL ABOUT TO ‘MAKE A CONCRETE MOVE’ FOR £34.5M MIDFIELDER MANCHESTER CITY WANT –
Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool are reportedly close to making an offer to buy Celta de Vigo midfielder Gabri Veiga amid interest from Mauricio Pochettino's Chelsea and Pep Guardiola's Manchester City.
Italian journalist Rudy Galetti wrote on Twitter (2:
1pm, 12 June 2023) that Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City want to sign Celta de Vigo midfielder Gabri Veiga during the summer transfer window.
Real Madrid and Napoli are also said to be interested in the 21-year-old Spain U21 central midfielder.
Galetti added that Liverpool are now ready to make a focus move for Veiga, adding that the youngster has a €40m (£34.5m) release clause in his contract.
Journalist wrote:

Can Liverpool sign Manchester City target Gabriel Veiga?
In our opinion, Liverpool could sign Gabriel Veiga against Manchester City in the summer transfer window.
It seems that while Premier League, FA Cup and UEFA Champions League winners Man City have expressed interest in the 21-year-old, they have no plans to make an offer anytime soon.
Liverpool is. So it shows that the Merseyside team is more determined than Man City to get the services of the Celta star.
Very simple for Liverpool.
The former Premier League and UEFA Champions League champions had to pay the release clause in Veiga's contract and offer a salary he couldn't refuse.
Liverpool is a big club and a global brand, and we think the youngster will find the prospect of playing for the Reds extremely appealing.
