LAs Arsenal prepare for the upcoming season, the club are eyeing a number of key signings to strengthen their squad. If the speculations turn out to be true, the Gunners could see significant improvement in various positions on the field.
The Germany international, who played a key role in Manchester City's treble season, has emerged as a potential Arsenal target. Considering Gundogan's contract situation at Man City, it looks like he will be looking for a new challenge this summer. His arrival will provide the Gunners with a versatile and highly skilled midfielder who will add depth and experience to their squad. Declan Rice:
West Ham United England international Declan Rice has been linked with a move away from the Hammers, and their CEO Sullivan has confirmed they will not block his departure should an offer arise. Fit.
Rice's defense and ability to control play from midfield would make him a great addition to the Arsenal squad. Pairing him with Martin Odegaard could form a formidable partnership in midfield, improving the Gunners' ability to control the game.
Joao Cancelo:
The Portuguese defender who currently plays for Manchester City is said to be unpopular with manager Pep Guardiola. This situation is an opportunity for Arsenal when they can play Cancelo regularly and have the opportunity to revive his career. With a flair for both attack and defence, Cancelo will provide the Gunners with a dynamic option at right-back who will significantly strengthen their backline.

Journalist Dean Jones has told GIVEMESPORT that Manchester United target Jurrien Timber could now be "the one to emerge" at Old Trafford.
Erik ten Hag could once again return to the Netherlands to find reinforcements for his United team.
Since arriving from Ajax, ten Hag is not afraid to look to his homeland to attract new signings to Old Trafford.
The Dutchman has brought in Antony and Lisandro Martinez from his former club, and it won't be surprising to see him continue to monitor the Eredivisie for future entrants.
Timber is a player United could be targeting, and he has admitted he has agreed a deal with Ajax with a possible move this summer. He told Dutch media outlet De Telegraaf:
"Suffice to say, a transfer is getting closer and closer. There is a lot of concrete interest and I have reached an agreement with Ajax.
"Last year, Ajax offered me to stay for at least another season and extend my contract. As a club boy, I did it with love, and after the season we did it. agreed to review the situation."
Timber is believed to be worth around 36m, with United expressing an interest in the young defender.
Another potential target is Napoli defender Kim Min-jae, whose 52m release clause will come into effect in July, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano. Jones suggests that Timber, whom Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk once called a "great player", could be the one to emerge right now in the summer transfer window.
Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, he said:
"United once again looked to the Eredivisie for options, so Jurrien Timber could still be the one to emerge from there. I think Kim Min-Jae is the one people are most interested in.
"It's all about the small window in July, when it's available at a good price, which will ultimately determine whether that happens."
Timber will be a smart contract?
According to FBref, Timber had an impressive season when he started 34 matches in the league. The 21-year-old has a Sofascore average of 7.03, scoring twice and has two assists.
The young defender also averages 1.2 interceptions, 1.4 tackles and 1.9 clearances per game.
Timber's dribbling ability could make him an attractive prospect for ten Hags, having a pass success rate of 91.7%, according to WhoScored.
The signing of Timber could add another dimension to United, bringing more control to their games thanks to his composure on the ball.
