When supporters viewed a photo of Haaland standing next to Noel Gallagher at the Etihad in April, they could not believe how much he had changed in just two months.
After helping Manchester City defeat championship challenger Arsenal 4-1, Haaland took a picture in the team's locker room with the Oasis singer.
Although some supporters think the celebration photo has been manipulated, the 22-year-old goal machine appears to have bulked up dramatically since.
One admirer on Twitter insisted the photograph was "photoshopped," discrediting its veracity.
Another admirer who questioned the Norwegian's physical makeover only added the word "Edit."
Some fans were less critical of Haaland's celebration photo and praised the superstar for his work in the weight room prior to Manchester City's Champions League victory over Inter Milan.
One fan commented, referring to a different image of Haaland and Manuel Akanji, "I'm still trying to wrap my head around the transformation." Look at him, even Akanji! Did they prepare specifically for the season's end?
