Real Madrid have confirmed the signing of England international Jude Bellingham to a long-term contract.

Real Madrid has won the race to sign England midfielder Jude Bellingham, who joins after nearly missing out on the Bundesliga title with Borussia Dortmund.

Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund have agreed on a deal for England midfielder Jude Bellingham, who will reinforce an already strong midfield.

Dortmund had earlier made their own statement regarding the transfer. The England international, who will turn 20 at the end of the month, has signed a six-year contract with the Spanish giants.

Madrid's cost for the teenager is thought to be €103 million (£88 million), with a further €30 million (£25 million) payable in potential add-ons. If all add-ons are met, the sum would break the English player transfer record set by Manchester City's 2021 purchase for Jack Grealish.

Real Madrid CF and Borussia Dortmund have agreed on the transfer of player Jude Bellingham, who will remain with our club for the next six seasons, according to a club release.

"The presentation ceremony for Jude Bellingham as a new Real Madrid player will take place tomorrow, Thursday, June 15, at 12:00 noon at Real Madrid City." Jude Bellingham will then appear in front of the media."

Bellingham progressed through the ranks at Birmingham City before turning off Premier League offers to join Dortmund in 2020. He was unable to leave as a Bundesliga champion, however, because the championship hopefuls were defeated on the final day of the 2022-23 season.

Real Madrid's hectic summer continues with the acquisition of Bellingham. Carlo Ancelotti's team is already preparing for offensive changes, with long-serving striker Karim Benzema set to join the Saudi Pro League in a mega-money deal.

They have also confirmed Eden Hazard's exit, despite the Belgian star's struggles since his big-money move from Chelsea in 2019. Marco Asensio and Mariano Diaz are also leaving, with Spain international Asensio receiving Premier League attention.

At the age of 17, Bellingham became England's third-youngest senior men's international when he made his debut under Gareth Southgate. He was a member of the squads for Euro 2020 and the World Cup in 2022, when he scored his first senior goal for the Three Lions.
