According to a new report, Chelsea have told Juventus they can choose from five Blues players in a swap deal for Dusan Vlahovic.
The Serbian striker signed for Juve in January 2022 in the face of strong interest from Arsenal.
He has scored 10 goals in 27 games this season to help the Italian giants get the points they would have finished fourth in Serie A under normal circumstances.
However, the club had 10 points deducted after being found guilty of breaching capital gains. The penalty meant they finished seventh, missed out on the Champions League and instead qualified for next season's Europa League congress football. Advertisement
As a result, there have been speculations about the futures of several key Juve players. And with Mauricio Pochettino's Chelsea in need of a central striker, they have been linked with a move for Vlahovic.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport (via Football Italia), Juve have made an asking price of 80 million euros (about 68.7 million pounds) to sell the 23-year-old.
The report claims that the Italian side have been told they can choose from a list of five Chelsea players as part of a partial-plus-cash swap deal for Vlahovic.
It is known that academy graduates Trevoh Chalobah and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are on the list, along with American winger Christian Pulisic. Meanwhile, centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly, who has just joined the club since his Serie A team-mate Napoli last summer, is also said to be an option for Juve.
And the fifth and final name is striker Romelu Lukaku, who is on loan at Inter Milan and appeared in the defeat to Manchester City in the Champions League final.
Chelsea paid a club-record fee of £97.5m to sign the Belgian from Inter in 2021, with Lukaku scoring 15 goals in all competitions last season before being deemed did not meet the requirements at Stamford Bridge.
The Daily Mail claimed earlier this week that the Blues must tell Lukaku they are happy to work with him next season - but the player himself must say he wants to leave.
