The Manchester United icon, who posted that his knee was "f*****" after the UNICEF charity game, hobbled out of his house on Wednesday while his daughter Alicia recorded the severity of his injury.
Midway through Soccer Aid, the 48-year-old substitute entered the game and gave England a 2-1 lead early in the second half with a deft finish in the 53rd minute.
After colliding with his former Red Devils teammate Nani a short time later at Old Trafford, Scholes was forced off, and World XI went on to win 4-2.
Nothing will ever make me feel better than playing in front of a packed house in overtime and scoring, despite my f***** knees.
"Great two days with a bunch of really funny people."
Scholes complained about the flags Soccer Aid fans were given on Instagram prior to the Sunday night match.
Old Trafford looked more like a sea of light blue typically associated with United's arch rivals Manchester City than the blue and white flags attendees were given to wave there in honor of the UNICEF charity.
Soccer Aid took place less than a day after Pep Guardiola's crosstown club won the fabled Treble, matching Scholes and his United teammates' achievement from 1999.
