The incoming Jude Bellingham has been cautioned by Real Madrid player Toni Kroos that Eden Hazard failed after arriving on a high-profile deal, and he hopes that history won't repeat itself.
Toni Kroos, a midfielder for Real Madrid, has criticized his former teammate Eden Hazard for 'letting his career rest' since joining Los Blancos.
The Belgian reportedly paid £88 million to move from Chelsea to Real Madrid during the 2019 summer transfer window, but due to his poor form and lack of fitness, he was a massive failure at the Santiago Bernabeu and was dubbed the second worst purchase in football history by 90 minutes.
Hazard only managed to score seven goals in all competitions during his four seasons with the team, and his contract expired this past June, making him a free agent.

Speaking about Real Madrid's most recent pricey signing on the Einfach mal Luppen podcast Jude Bellingham, who joined Real Madrid on Wednesday for a rumored fee of €103 million, was mentioned by Kroos, who also found out that Hazard had joined for a same sum.
"Transfer fee of €103m? Now we also have someone who came here purely for the money and essentially put his career on hold. A significant sum of money, and I believe that everyone would afterwards reflect that the transfer was not so wise. Let's start, though, on a good note, Kroos stated.
On Thursday, Bellingham will be introduced as a Real Madrid player. The England international joins a talented midfield that already includes Luka Modric, Aurelien Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga, Fede Valverde, and Kroos.
