With just one year until the opening match of Euro 2024 in Munich, the countdown has officially begun.

England, who are currently in first place in qualifying Group C, will play Malta on June 16 at 7:45 p.m. and North Macedonia on June 19 at 7:45 p.m. in an effort to advance to the tournament in Germany next summer and improve upon their second-place finish at Euro 2020.

Who would Gareth Southgate choose if his team's opening game at the tournament was right around the corner? Players still have plenty of time to argue their claims throughout the course of the following year.

Would Aaron Ramsdale receive the opportunity to play goal? Would Trent-Alexander-Arnold make a comeback to the starting lineup? Would he stand up for you?

Pickford, Walker, Stones, Maguire, Shaw, Rice, Alexander-Arnold, Bellingham, Saka, Kane, and Rashford make up Dave Richardson's England XI for Euro 2024.

You can't choose too differently from the prior tournament selections, but Gareth Southgate might replace Harry Maguire in one position. The Manchester United captain's summer transfer status will determine a lot, but if he stays at Old Trafford, Levi Colwill will likely surpass him in the pecking order.

Colwill just finished a fantastic season on loan from Chelsea to Brighton, and no matter where he plays next year, he should be included in the England team starting in September. Other than that, anticipate Southgate to continue using
