Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly settled on the number 1 for next season and plans to keep Kepa Arrizabalaga as Chelsea's first-choice goalkeeper.
Chelsea have been linked with several goalkeepers in the summer transfer window, including Inter Milan's Andre Onana and Brighton's Robert Sanchez.
The Blues spent £72 million on Kepa - making him the most expensive goalkeeper in history - and a further £22 million on Edouard Mendy.
But both have drawn criticism at Stamford Bridge and it has been suggested Pochettino is looking for a new goalkeeper for his first season in west London. However, according to Sky Sports, Pochettino is happy with Kepa and wants the Spaniard to be his first-choice goalkeeper next season.
As such, a move away from Onana or Sanchez - who will claim the number 1 shirt - is deemed unlikely, although Chelsea could still find a backup keeper if Mendy seeks a transfer in the summer.
According to Sky Sports, Chelsea is focusing on other areas of the transfer market to sign a new striker and central midfielder. The Blues are also keen to streamline their bloated squad at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea finished 12th in the Premier League last season - closer to the relegation zone than a Champions League place - but are hoping Pochettino's arrival can get the club back on track.
Chelsea's owners released a letter to fans last week, thanking them for their "amazing support" and reiterating their commitment to the club's "long-term" success.
"Our promise to you is to make our fans proud," the statement read. “We remain fully committed to the long-term and sustainable success of our club and deliver on the promises we made to you. We know the huge potential we have to develop to develop Chelsea FC and we take that role seriously. Everyone who works here is relentlessly focused on moving us forward.
“During these difficult times, our fans have supported our players and teams across the country and Europe with unwavering loyalty. We are very grateful for your great support.
“We will continue to make sure your voice is heard even as we look to the future. Despite all the challenges in the past year, we are optimistic about the future.”
