According to Thomas Zilliacus, who made a takeover attempt for the Premier League heavyweights in March, Manchester United is "more than a club."

The only remaining bidders in the competition are Jim Ratcliffe and Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
