Reports have emerged suggesting that Chelsea Football Club has made inquiries regarding the availability of Tottenham Hotspur's star striker, Harry Kane. However, it is widely believed that any potential deal between the two London clubs would be highly unlikely due to the strained relationship between Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy and Chelsea.

According to various sources, Chelsea have expressed interest in securing the services of Harry Kane, who is widely regarded as one of the most prolific and talented strikers in the English Premier League. The Blues, known for their ambitious approach in the transfer market, have reportedly made initial inquiries to gauge the feasibility of a potential transfer.

Nevertheless, the prospect of a deal materializing between Chelsea and Tottenham seems improbable, primarily due to the contentious relationship between the respective clubs' chairmen, Daniel Levy and Roman Abramovich. Over the years, Levy has been notoriously resistant to selling his star players, especially to rival clubs within the league.

Levy's firm stance on not dealing with Chelsea can be traced back to several high-profile transfers between the two clubs, which have left a lasting bitter taste. One such instance occurred in 2011 when Chelsea acquired Croatian midfielder Luka Modric from Tottenham. The transfer was marred by acrimonious negotiations, with Levy ultimately holding out until the last minute before reluctantly agreeing to the deal.

Additionally, Levy's steadfastness in negotiations was evident during Chelsea's pursuit of another Tottenham player, Gareth Bale, in 2013. Despite a substantial offer from the Blues, Levy refused to entertain any discussions, ultimately leading to Bale's eventual move to Real Madrid.

The strained relationship between Levy and Chelsea has only intensified since then, as the two clubs have frequently found themselves in direct competition for various transfer targets. This has further soured relations between the two London giants and has contributed to an atmosphere of mistrust and animosity.

Moreover, Levy's uncompromising reputation as a tough negotiator and his commitment to protecting Tottenham's interests have solidified his stance against conducting business with Chelsea. His determination to uphold the club's principles and avoid strengthening a direct rival has been a defining characteristic of his tenure as chairman.

While the allure of playing for a club like Chelsea may be tempting for Harry Kane, it appears highly unlikely that a transfer to Stamford Bridge will materialize. Levy's resolute stance and his unwillingness to enter into negotiations with Chelsea will undoubtedly present a significant hurdle for any potential deal. Moreover, Tottenham's valuation of their star player is expected to be exorbitant, further complicating matters.

Ultimately, while Chelsea's interest in Harry Kane is no doubt flattering for the talented striker, the history between the two clubs and the strained relationship between their chairmen make a transfer highly improbable. Fans will continue to speculate on the potential move, but for now, it seems that Kane will remain a key figure at Tottenham Hotspur, at least in the near future.
