Gavi talks Modric, Bellingham, Ceballos, Spanish NT, Barcelona, and preferred position.

Gavi recently spoke to Diario SPORT about Spain's chances in the upcoming UEFA Nations League final and his experience with the national team under new coach Luis de la Fuente. The young Barcelona midfielder expressed his happiness and gratitude for the trust shown in him by both Luis Enrique and Luis de la Fuente, saying that he feels supported by the national team. He also mentioned that the recent victory has brought peace of mind to the team, emphasizing their unity.

Looking ahead to the Nations League final against Croatia, Gavi praised Croatian midfielder Luka Modric, acknowledging his talent and anticipating a highly competitive match. When asked about Spain's previous title win in 2012, Gavi admitted that he doesn't recall many details but expressed his desire to win more titles with both Barcelona and the national team.

Responding to rumors of discontent within the Spain dressing room, Gavi denied any knowledge of a bad atmosphere, stating that he gets along with everyone on the team. He mentioned that the coach, presumably Luis de la Fuente, emphasized the importance of unity and leaving on-pitch matters on the field.

Gavi also discussed his preferred position on the pitch, mentioning that he enjoys playing as a number ten but believes his strength lies in being a midfielder in a 4-3-3 formation. He acknowledged that there is room for improvement in his game but highlighted his dedication and competitiveness throughout the full 90 minutes of a match.

Switching focus to Barcelona, Gavi acknowledged the club's challenging economic situation but commended the academy players for stepping up during this difficult period. Despite the financial struggles, he expressed optimism about the team's future.

When asked about Real Madrid's signing of Jude Bellingham, Gavi showed indifference, stating that he couldn't care less about Madrid's signings and that the team's focus is solely on themselves.

Overall, Gavi's interview reflected his positive outlook and enthusiasm for the upcoming Nations League final. He expressed his satisfaction with the support he has received from the national team and reiterated his commitment to improving and winning titles with both Barcelona and Spain.
