Arsenal were cruelly mocked by their own fans after they shared a post explaining how the Champions League works.
The Gunners failed to win the Premier League title after being chased by Manchester City.
But by finishing second in the tournament, they have secured a Champions League spot for the 2023/24 campaign.
This will be their first foray into Europe's elite club competition since the 2015/16 season.

And before standing shoulder to shoulder with the big European clubs, Arsenal posted a forum explaining how to play. They tweeted:
"How the league works", adding:
"Everything you need to know about the Champions League ahead of the 23/24 season.

Everything you need to know about the Champions League ahead of the 23/24 season
Since this was the tournament in which Arsenal qualified for 19 consecutive seasons before they retired, the tweet didn't go very well.
Even their fans laughed at the tweet. Obviously it's been a long time without Champions League football.
One Twitter user joked:
"We haven't been in the Champions League for too long so the club is teaching us how it works."
A second tweet:
“How does the tournament work? I know six years is a lot, but it really isn't."

The third added:
"We have been absent for so long that the club sees fit to remind us of how the competition works."
The fourth said:
"I guess it's been too long since we forgot how it works tbf."
Another commented:
"I'm crying, we know how it works."

Arsenal will be in group two for the Champions League group stage draw, meaning they won't be placed in the same group as Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Borussia Dortmund, among others.
Though they could still be in a group with Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and AC Milan to name a few.
What will Arsenal do in the Champions League campaign next season? Let us know what you think.
