Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola made a blunt remark regarding Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku when discussing his club's Champions League win.
City won their first European Cup on 10 June, beating Simone Inzaghi's Inter 1-0 in the final in Istanbul.
Rodri's 68th-minute shot into the bottom corner split the two teams on the scoreboard - but City had to work hard to win.
Left-back Federico Dimarco hit the Italian side's crossbar as they attempted to get back into the competition. Then, on the counter-attack, the Italian's shot hit Lukaku and went wide before the English club could clear the ball. Advertisement
But the most important moment of the game came late, when Inter were awarded a free kick.
The ball was sent by substitute Robin Gosens straight towards Lukaku's goal. However, although the Belgian striker hit the header from 6 yards, he could only put the ball straight into the path of goalkeeper Ederson, who instinctively blocked with his foot.
Ruben Dias then dismissed the danger, meaning City could breathe a sigh of relief as they watched the game and put their name on the trophy.

Guardiola takes aim at scathing comments about Lukaku
More than a week after the final, coach Guardiola of Man City has had an experience of his old team Barcelona and the work Xavi is doing in the head coach of Camp Nou. The 52-year-old has issued a warning about his former star midfielder, who has seen his side knocked out of the Champions League group stage during his two seasons at the club.
But Guardiola urged the Barca board to give him time, putting it in context of how long it took him to win the Champions League with City - and also referring to Lukaku's late defeat in Istanbul.
He told Marca (quoted via Reshad Rahman):
"Give Xavi some time [in Barcelona]. It took us [City] eight years to win the Champions League.
"I'm European champion because an attacker missed a free kick with a header from three yards..."
It was a moment to forget for Lukaku, who will return to Chelsea this summer after his loan spell at Inter ends. Like several other Chelsea players, the striker has been linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League. But Fabrizio Romano reports that he has turned down the approaches because he wants to stay in Europe.
