Bayern Munich look to hijack Ten Hag’s move for Hojlund despite player “really keen” on Man Utd transfer
Bayern Munich are looking to sign Rasmus Hojlund despite the striker's desire to join Manchester United.
According to Bild, the Bundesliga champions have identified Hojlund as an alternative to some of the more expensive targets in the summer.
Bayern and United have been linked with Randal Kolo Muani, Victor Osimhen and Harry Kane in recent months.
However, the Bavarian giants reportedly feel that Hojlund would be a more affordable option, given the resale value and growth potential.
United have also identified the 20-year-old as a summer target and want to sign the Atalanta striker alongside a more experienced No 9.
However, according to Metro, Atalanta has made an asking price of £60m for Hojlund, £20m more than United are willing to pay for the Dane. Hojlund 'very excited' about Man Utd transfer

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Hojlund, a childhood United fan, is "really looking forward" to a move to Old Trafford.
Earlier this month, Romano told United Stand:
“It can be said that Manchester United have been informed of the terms of the agreement.
“What has happened recently, over the last 10 days, is that they have been talking to people close to Rasmus Hojlund to be informed of the terms of the deal, the amount of money it will take to sign the player. this summer.
"They know that Atalanta is hoping to keep the player. But from what I understand, the player will be really interested in a move to Manchester United.
"We know he's a Manchester United fan - he was a Manchester United fan as a kid. Also, he has dreams of playing in the Premier League, so I think he wants to move out. United know that."
Hojlund scored nine goals in 32 appearances in his first season in Serie A, while his playing style has been compared to Manchester City's Erling Haaland.
