Manchester United are set to break Erik ten Hag's unwritten rule to keep Marcus Rashford at Old Trafford.
Rashford, 25, is entering the final 12 months of his current contract with United, which has triggered the option to extend his contract for another year earlier this season.
The England international is in contract negotiations with the club and his failure to sign a new contract so far has led to speculation about his future, with fans of the longtime Paris Saint striker - Germain.
However, Rashford is expected to stay with his boyhood club and is tipped to sign a new five-year contract worth almost £100m.

The Mirror has reported that United are about to make Rashford the biggest earner at Old Trafford. It is reported that the Premier League club are ready to nearly double Rashford's salary from £200,000 a week to £375,000.
Goalkeeper David de Gea, 32, is currently United's highest-paid player on a £375,000-a-week deal, which expires at the end of the month.

United are said to have offered the Spaniard a new deal with a £200,000-a-week cut price - and told him he would not go any higher.
If De Gea does agree to the deal, it will effectively see him and Rashford swap wages.
Man Utd is ready to break the 'rule' of Ten Hag
If they hand Rashford his new and improved contract, it would break a rule that manager Ten Hag is said to have attempted to implement at the club. Advertisement
According to The Mail on Sunday, Ten Hag would like to introduce a £200,000-a-week salary at Old Trafford to ensure no one in the Old Trafford dressing room is paid significantly more than his teammates.
United were set to implement the 'Ronaldo Rule' after removing Cristiano Ronaldo and his £480,000-a-week contract from their books in November.
But now they seem to have broken the rule a few months later to keep Rashford at the club.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims Rashford will sign a new contract soon.

"Manchester United is about to agree with Marcus Rashford on a new long-term deal. He is ready to accept the proposal," Romano wrote on Twitter.
"Negotiations are in the final stages - Rashford is very pleased with Erik ten Hag. Final details will be worked out - we will be there soon."
