The 10 most valuable goalkeepers in world football have been ranked.



After a 22/23 season long, the summer transfer window is now in the spotlight.


During what is sure to be a busy period, many clubs will look to add quality to their squads.


Before the transfer window, Transfermarkt ranked 10 most valuable goalkeepers in the world.

At the top of the list is Atletico Madrid striker Jan Oblak, once named the best in the world, the Slovenian is currently worth 35 million euros. Inter's ninth-placed Andre Onana is also worth €35m, Onana has impressed as Inter progress to the Champions League final and has been linked with moves to Manchester United and Chelsea.


Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper Gregor Kobel is eighth and is again worth 35 million euros.

The next player is Arsenal's number one, Aaron Ramsdale, whose transfer value is 38 million euros. Liverpool's Alisson, Real Madrid's Thibault Courtois and AC Milan's Mike Maignan are in sixth, fifth and fourth place respectively with a value of 45 million euros.



Manchester City's hat-trick keeper Ederson broke into the top three, while Porto's Diogo Costa narrowly missed out on top. The goalkeeper with the highest transfer value is Gianluigi Donnarumma of Paris Saint Germain, valued at 50 million euros by Transfermarkt.

Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea, who won 22 of the 23 Premier League Golden Glove awards, was again eliminated and dropped to 33rd place surprisingly, with a transfer value of only 15 million euros.



At this stage, it remains unclear whether De Gea will sign a new contract with United after his performances came under scrutiny throughout the campaign.


Since De Gea's situation became public, United have been linked with a host of goalkeepers ahead of the summer transfer window.


It is reported that United are tracking Everton's Jordan Pickford, Porto's Costa, Brentford's David Raya and Inter's Onana. Advertisement
