The Dragons' aspirations in Samsun were dashed by two goals in the final 18 minutes.
Rob Page is adamant that Wales can still automatically qualify for Euro 2024 after losing in Turkey for the second time in a row.
Wales lost 2-0 to Armenia in Samsun after a disastrous performance against Armenia on Friday, when opponents from the 97th-ranked team in the world won 4-2 in Cardiff.
Wales is two points behind Armenia, which has a game in hand, and five points behind Turkey at the halfway point of their eight-game season.
favored by the group Wales and Croatia both have the same number of points despite playing two fewer games.
Because of their Nations League standing, Wales are almost surely guaranteed a play-off position, but boss Page is adamant that they can win one of the two available automatic qualifying slots in Group D.
"Absolutely (I believe that)," responded Page, who has presided over just one victory in 12 contests since Wales' World Cup qualification in June of last year.
"If we want to succeed, we need to get all sides of the game right and play incredibly well.
"The camp has been frustrating, but there are a lot of things we can learn from it.
"We'll deal with it. Every game we play, we aim to win. It simply means that it is crucial that we win at home and accrue as many points as possible.
When midfielder Joe Morrell fouled Ferdi Kadioglu with his studs in the 41st minute and was sent out, Wales was faced with an uphill battle.
Following Kieffer Moore's dismissal against Armenia, Wales have received two red cards in as many games.
After Aaron Ramsey handled Kadioglu's cross, Danny Ward saved Hakan Calhanoglu's penalty in the 64th minute.
In the closing 18 minutes, though, goals from Umut Nayir and Arda Guler proved that Turkey's pressure had paid off.
Every time you travel to Turkey, you are aware that it will be a difficult challenge, said Page.
"Having said that, I think we matched them before the red card, and I was extremely happy with the defensive effort, which we certainly addressed in light of Friday's outcome.
