Khaldoon Al Mubarak, the chairman of Manchester City, is adamant that the club will not stop as it expands its international impact.
The City Football Group, a global network of 13 clubs, is led by the Premier League and European winners.
The CFG now runs clubs in New York, Melbourne, and Yokohama in addition to City, and this year it welcomed Brazilian outfit Bahia to the fold.
All of those enterprises, including the players, coaches, facilities, and academies, will get significant investment from CFG.
It's always about progress, Khaldoon said in a statement to the club's media outlets. One step at a time, you advance, pause, organize your affairs, and then begin the subsequent stage. We will not give up.
We're going to keep moving forward, investing in and growing value, bringing joy to every community and every club we have around the world, and hopefully continuing to bring success to every club and team we have. "It's been a great journey over the last 15 years, but I'm excited about the future and it's about now, the next 10, 15 years too."
After winning seven Premier League championships since 2012, Manchester City has been the biggest success story. This year, they became just the second English team to achieve the Triple Crown.
The club's most recent new infrastructure project is now in the works, with plans to expand
The plan, which costs £300 million, also includes building a hotel, shops, and food and beverage establishments, in addition to a new covered fan zone with a capacity of 3,000 people.
It won't be the stadium's final renovation, according to Khaldoon.
It's really thrilling, he said. "Every year, something new is introduced since there is always room for improvement, evolution, and expansion. We are not motionless. We were never still. We will make changes every couple of years, whether it be to the Tunnel Club, the new stands, or the seats.
