At the seventh convocation of the Jamia Ahmadiyya Islamic University of Technology and Scholastic Sciences International in Mankessim, in the Central Region, seventeen missionaries from nine different nations received Shahid degrees.
Ghana, Nigeria, Uganda, the Gambia, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Mauritius, Kazakhstan, and Jordan were among the nations represented among the graduates.
With campuses in Pakistan, the United Kingdom, India, Ghana, Canada, Germany, Nigeria, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Malaysia, and Tanzania, the Jamia Institute is a global Islamic seminary.

The vice principal of the university, Mirza Khali Ahmad Baig, stated that the main goal of educating the students is to provide them with knowledge of Islam's beautiful and peaceful teachings in order to prepare them to act as peace ambassadors in the outside world. He thus urged the students to spread peace.
The Holy Quran was taught to the students because it was related to the teachings of other religions and how to promote interfaith harmony, he said, explaining that in accordance with the prophecies of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, the true and correct image of Islam could only be presented through the Promised Messiah.
He said that the graduates had also gotten hands-on training by responding to queries during a weekly show that was broadcast on GTV and different programming on Muslims Television Ahmadiyya.
He congratulated the graduates and gave them advice to maintain their modesty and guide others in the right direction.
Responsibilities
Alhaji Maulvi Noor Muhammad, the Ameer and Missionary in Charge of the Ahmadiyya Muslims Mission Ghana, spoke on his behalf. Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the Supreme Head of the Worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, exhorted the graduates to constantly be aware of their new duties and work hard to attain their objectives.
But he challenged them to continuously examine their own behaviour and, when necessary, embrace reforming and improving ideals.
He counselled them to be unselfish, brave, wise, and compassionate towards others around them.
In order to complete the mission ahead for the Jamaat in the future, he also exhorted them to shun narcissism and to strengthen their administrative abilities.
They were urged by Hazrat Masroor to develop into moral role models who would upend society.

Stephen Asamoah Boateng, Minister for Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, urged the graduates in a speech given on his behalf by Richard Obeng Boafo, Director of Religious Affairs, to show confidence, initiative, perseverance, humility, and passion for the kingdom, as well as to pursue lifelong learning and be resilient in order to fulfil their goals.
In order to promote peace and religious tolerance, he continued, the ministry will seek to promote and organise interfaith and intrafaith talks.
He repeated that the government was also developing a religion policy and that it would send the draft to religious groups for their feedback, remarks, ideas, and recommendations.
Targeted youth
The missionaries had a variety of duties and responsibilities, according to Nana Ama Amissah III, Queenmother of the Mankessim Traditional Area, who urged them to concentrate on guiding the youth in the correct direction.
Ophelia Mensah Hayford, the Member of Parliament for Mfantseman, thanked the missionaries and advised them to lead honourable lives.
The diplomas were given to the Shahid graduates by Alhaji Maulvi Noor Muhammad Bin Saleh, Ameer and Missionary in Charge of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission in Ghana.
