Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia displayed frenzied skill in Georgia's recent Euro 2024 qualifying win and wowed his fans.

To be fair, a year ago few football fans had heard of Kvaratskhelia, who moved from Georgian side Dinamo Batumi to Napoli last summer.

Before that, he played for Rubin Kazan, but the Russian invasion of Ukraine allowed him to leave and return to his homeland.

Nearly 12 months later, his smooth skills that helped Napoli win the Serie A title for the first time in 33 years have attracted everyone's attention.

Many people first noticed him when he helped destroy Liverpool in the Champions League group stage, and he quickly earned the nickname Kvaradona in reference to Napoli legend Diego Maradona. He has scored 12 goals and made 10 more assists and is essential to Luciano Spalletti's side as Victor Osimhen.

The club even signed him to a new contract in the middle of the season to avoid anyone's interest, despite still earning nothing.

Now, the 22-year-old has continued his incredible form despite the summer, showing incredible skill in Georgia's Euro 2024 qualifying win over Cyprus last Saturday.

Moving with moderate speed, the striker managed to get the ball back, then shoot forward and finally beat the defender, in a seemingly fluid motion.

If that wasn't enough, then he sped into the box and cut the ball past the next defender to try to get the ball away from him. Honestly, the only thing more impressive was trying to spell his name correctly without doing any research first, and fans agreed.

"It's reminiscent of the way the ball gets stuck in Iniesta's shoe when he's dribbling," said one, comparing the striker to one of the all-time greats.

“I can practice this 1,000,000 times and get zero,” one second added.

Making a big prediction, another fan stated:

"I really believe that in the next 12 months he will be the talk of the football world and he will have BIG MONEY somewhere and he will be mentioned like Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland. "

"Insane ability. What talent. The amount of practice the boy had to put in throughout his life to grow up to have that level of control while dribbling at almost full speed," said a fourth.

"Honestly, one of the craziest things I've seen playing a live game in the last 20 years," praised another.

And another said:

"I need this guy in the Premier League!"

After picking up four points from their first two games, Georgia will face Scotland on Tuesday night, who hold the 100% record in Group A.
