Manchester United may have found their centre-back solution amid reports the club have approached Federico Dimarco.
According to the Independent, United and Real Madrid have both spoken to Champions League finalists Inter about full-back Dimarco.
The Italy international has been one of the most impressive players in the Champions League this season, and the Serie A side are currently facing huge pressure to sell this summer.
According to reports, several clubs are interested in Dimarco but United and Madrid have expressed the most coordinated interest so far.

Both clubs are interested in part due to the possibility of signing a burgeoning talent for a relatively small fee, while the player's versatility is also admired. Indeed, Inter's financial difficulties could allow a cheap deal for a highly rated player.
Furthermore, Real are said to have turned their attention to Dimarco with Eduardo Camavinga keen to compete for his place in midfield.

According to Independent United, they have watched a series of central defenders.
While Napoli's Kim Min-Jae will be favored by Bayern Munich, the Old Trafford club are said to be interested in Monaco's Axel Disasi, while Leeds United's Robin Koch is an unexpectedly discounted replacement.
But it is possible that instead of recruiting a new central defender, Shaw could play more in that position. The England international had some impressive performances in the midfield last season, especially at the start of the year.

Indeed, signing Dimarco to take the left wing will give Shaw more time to play at centre-back.
United's priority in the market is a striker, although the Old Trafford club are said to have balked at Harry Kane's assessment of Tottenham.
Meanwhile, Atalanta is said to have increased the asking price of Rasmus Hojlund from around £40m to almost £90m.
