Manchester United are said to have entered the race to sign Gambia U20 striker Adama Bojang.

The 19-year-old currently plays for Steve Biko FC in the Gambia and is worth around £3m.

According to the Guardian, Manchester United and Newcastle are the latest Premier League clubs interested in Bojang - but several Bundesliga clubs are already on the hunt for his signature.

The youngster has attracted more attention after featuring in his country's recent run to the U20 World Cup knockout stage in Argentina.

He is said to have attracted interest from Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Tottenham, Liverpool and Wolves. Reports say that Steve Biko FC received an offer from an unnamed German club this week, with RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt both closely linked with the striker.

Ed Aarons reports:

"He [Bojang] is said to be in favor of a move to the Bundesliga, but it remains to be seen if that changes if an English club moves in."

A move to the Premier League - more specifically Manchester United - would certainly be more appealing than a move to Germany.

On another note, Bojang and other players will see the Bundesliga as a good league to make a name for themselves. We've seen Jadon Sancho do this as well as Jude Bellingham at Borussia Dortmund.
