Heung-min Son insists money "doesn't matter" while the Tottenham star has dismissed rumors of a move to Saudi Arabia
Son Heung-min has denied rumors he will make a surprise move to Saudi Arabia this summer.
It has been reported that Al-Ittihad are preparing to offer the striker a long-term £25m-a-year contract to further strengthen their squad following the signing of Karim Benzema and the expected arrival of N'golo Kante.
Chelsea trio Eduard Mendy, Kalidou Koulibaly and Hakim Ziyech have also been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia in the coming weeks, as have Ruben Neves and Bernardo Silva. While Al Ittihad are believed to be preparing a £50m bid for Son, Tottenham have no interest in selling the striker as they prepare for their first pre-season under new manager Ange Postecoglou.
During his international cap with South Korea following the draw with El Salvador, Son responded to speculation about his future, rejecting suggestions that a large financial offer could tempt him to become the latest high-profile player to join the Saudi club.
"I have a lot to do in the Premier League," said Son.
"Now money is no longer an issue for me and the pride of playing football, playing in my favorite league, is important. I will be well prepared when I return to Spurs."
Son, will definitely change his mind if Harry Kane decide to leave spurs this summer. Kane's future at Spurs is at stake as the striker is yet to decide or has clear the rumor about where he will be playing next season. Son will only move from Tottenham if he get a good offer from another European giant club but not in Asia.
Tottenham's Chairman Daniel Levy will not make it an easy task for any club to come and make enquiries about Son because he is part of the club and it will be difficult for him to let one of the most prolific striker of the team apart from Harry Kane to leave just like that.
