With Chelsea, a price has been agreed upon by Arsenal in order to capture German forward Kai Havertz.

The Gunners, who finished second in the Premier League last season, have made the 24-year-old one of their main targets in recent weeks as they attempt to strengthen a group.

According to the PA news agency, a deal has been reached between the London rivals that will enable Havertz to talk terms and get a physical.

Havertz is now set to be the first player that Arsenal signs this season. The agreement is thought to be for more than £65 million, including add-ons.

Havertz, who joined Chelsea in 2020 from Bayer Leverkusen, has scored 19 goals in 91 Premier League games for the Blues. He also scored the game's lone goal as Chelsea defeated Manchester City.

Declan Rice, the captain of West Ham, may easily follow him at the Emirates Stadium given that Arsenal has already had two bids rejected.

Although Rice has long been respected in north London, the Hammers on Tuesday rejected a club-record fee, and a £90 million offer was insufficient to reach a deal.

Romeo Lavia of Southampton and Jurrien Timber of Ajax have both been mentioned in connection with Arsenal this summer.

Given that Arsenal has already had two bids for the Emirates Stadium rejected, Declan Rice, the captain of West Ham, may easily follow him there.

Rice is well-liked in north London, but the Hammers on Tuesday rejected a club-record fee, and a £90 million bid was insufficient to close a transfer.

Both Jurrien Timber of Ajax and Romeo Lavia of Southampton have been discussed in relation to Arsenal this summer.

In honor of the 2003/04 Invincibles team's 20th anniversary, the Gunners' home uniform features the 38-game winning record from that season on its seams.

As soon as customers realized their shirts only included 32 games from that illustrious Arsene Wenger season, pictures of them quickly spread on social media. adidas has since issued a statement saying the shirt has been removed from shelves while the error is addressed.

The message reads: "While a design problem is being fixed, the 2023/24 Arsenal Home Authentic Jerseys are temporarily unavailable.
