The PA news agency has learned that Harry Maguire's retrial in a Greek court will take place in February.
Following an incident in Mykonos, the England and Manchester United defender was given a 21-month term with probation in August 2020.
Maguire's legal team filed an appeal against the conviction for attempted bribery and assaulting a police officer right away, which United said revoked the initial court decision and rendered the conviction invalid.
Earlier this month, the retrial was apparently scheduled to begin, but the defense side requested that it be postponed.
PA has been informed that it will now occur on February 7, 2024, which is three and a half years following the incident.
