ERLING HAALAND FILMED TELLING MAN UTD FAN TO 'GET ANOTHER SHIRT' IN FOOTAGE MAN CITY FANS WILL LOVE

Erling Haaland joked to a young fan wearing a Manchester United shirt to "get another shirt".



Things could hardly have been better for Haaland in his first campaign in English football.


The Norwegian has scored 52 goals in all competitions, including a record 36 goals in 35 Premier League games to help Manchester City win the treble.


Meanwhile, Haaland's eccentric personality off the pitch also makes him popular with Man City fans and the wider football community.

And earlier this week, while on international duty with Norway, Haaland directed a sneaky prank on a young United fan, which would further cement the 22-year-old's status as a City's favorite fan. Haaland impresses Man Utd


In a clip from TV2 Sport, Haaland is approached by a young fan in a United outfit and asks him to take a photo. Of course, the required striker.


However, when the photo was taken, Haaland covered the youngster's United badge and said:

“Wait, take a picture now. Take another photo like this.

Smiling, the Man City star then wittily told fans:

"Get yourself a new shirt!"



On Tuesday, Haaland scored twice to help Norway win their usual 3-1 home win in a Euro 2024 qualifier against Cyprus.


Norway took an early lead thanks to Ola Solbakken, before Haaland scored a quick brace to put Cyprus ahead. Advertisement


It was an important win for Norway, the days before which they had seen their Euro 2024 hopes severely damaged after conceding two goals late and suffering 1 defeat. -2 against Scotland.



And Haaland was the subject of boos from his own fans after Scotland's dramatic final choking victory.


In footage shared by the Daily Mail, fans can be seen outside the Norwegian stadium chanting Haaland's name in the hope that he will sign his shirt and take a photo.


However, the sniper appeared to step into the team bus - raising his hand to wave to the crowd.



When they learned that they would not be able to see the former Borussia Dortmund player, the fans loudly booed the midfielder. In Norway's other two qualifying matches, they lost 0-3 to Spain and drew 1-1 with Georgia.
