Robert Lewandowski, a legendary goal scorer, has suggested he would be open to concluding his career with Barcelona.

After spending eight years with Bundesliga powerhouse Bayern Munich, where he amassed 344 goals in 375 games across all competitions and captured the UEFA Champions League, Lewandowski joined Barça in the summer 2022 transfer window.

The Polish forward has maintained his impressive goal-scoring style while playing for Barça as well, tallying 23 La Liga goals during his first season at Camp Nou to help the team win their first league championship in four years.Lewandowski acknowledged his impending retirement when Mundo Deportivo questioned him about it. He also said he might stay at Barcelona until he makes the decision to hang up his boots.

my emigration? It's not far. My family and I are really comfortable in Barcelona, therefore it's entirely conceivable that I'll end up working there. I thought that because I had other responsibilities, I scored five or six goals less. My involvement was crucial both on and off the field; I had to adapt to a new position, he remarked.

"I won't begin to consider whether I want to continue playing until my contract expires."

Lewandowski is one of many well-known athletes who have recently been linked to a highly lucrative transfer to the Saudi Pro League. Recently, Karim Benzema, N'Golo Kante, and Cristiano Ronaldo all moved to the Middle East, while Lionel Messi declined an offer.

As of Wednesday morning, N'Golo Kante had been officially announced as moving to Saudi Pro League champions Al Ittihad, making him the second senior midfielder to depart Chelsea this summer.

Mason Mount, who like Kovacic is entering the final year of his contract in west London, might also leave the Blues. Man United are intrigued, although their initial offer of £40 million was rejected.

Additionally anticipated to depart Chelsea is Kai Havertz, who has interest from Arsenal and Bayern Munich.

Ilkay Gundogan's decision over his future is still pending, and Man City are still waiting. His contract expires at the end of the month, and Barcelona and Arsenal are vying for his services.
