Manchester United are said to be considering a more paid player package for West Ham captain Declan Rice.

West Ham are said to be open to accepting Scott McTominay and Harry Maguire in exchange for a part for Declan Rice. The development emerged following news that Manchester United are said to be willing to offer the duo as part of a purchase package for Rice, who is valued at £100m by West Ham at the moment.

Arsenal are leading in fees so far, but Manchester United could meet the Gunners' offer by submitting a swap deal.

The Telegraph reports that Manchester United are debating whether to include McTominay and Maguire in the package to sweeten a deal. Arsenal are currently the highest bidder, but with West Ham interested in both McTominay and Maguire, it's a deal that could sweeten the deal.

According to insiders ExWHUEmployee, both players will be interesting for West Ham, which could prompt United to give it a try.

“We suspect rumors that Manchester United will enter the Declan Rice race on a player + cash contract may be true. West Ham will consider Maguire and McTominay in any deal. Maguire is expected to take a pay cut. Moyes admired McTominay.

West Ham have been hoping for a fight for Rice since chairman David Sullivan confirmed The Hammers are ready to sell their captain this summer following a Conference League win in Prague.

Manchester City have also been linked with a push and it is speculated that they could offer Kalvin Philips as part of the package.

West Ham have long admired Phillips, but the former Leeds man has made it clear he intends to stay next season despite leaving the Premier League only twice last season.

Arsenal still hope to reach an agreement as soon as possible as negotiations continue with West Ham.

The Hammers are looking for a suitable replacement, although Fulham have made an offer for top midfielder Joao Palhinha. Palhinha had a remarkable debut season in the Premier League last season after moving from Sporting to Portugal.

Borussia Dortmund are also said to be targeting Ajax midfielder Edson Alvarez.

Southampton midfielder James Ward-Prourage also remains attractive after the Saints' relegation and he could be sold for a reduced price.

Reports in Spain suggest Irons has also joined Lyon in the race for Atletico Madrid midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia.

Kondogbia was once highly rated during his time at Monaco but fell short of expectations after playing for Inter Milan and Valencia. He could be available for just over £4m this summer.
