Barcelona have completed the signing of Ilkay Gundogan, who will join the club on the 1st of July when his contract at Manchester City comes to an end.

According to MD, the deal has not been done, with just official confirmation to come. The German international has agreed a two-year contract, with Barcelona having the option to extend by a further year. Gundogan underwent medical tests in Munich on Tuesday, after which he met Mateu Alemany to sign on the dotted line.
Gundogan has rejected the renewal offer from Man City, as well as a further proposal from Arsenal, in order to sign for Barcelona, who are confident of being able to register him with LaLiga, which was a sticking point during negotiations.
Gundogan joins Inigo Martinez and Vitor Roque in having agreed to join Barcelona this summer, although all three deals have yet to be officially confirmed by the LaLiga champions.
Nevertheless, there is a confidence that they will be finalised in the very near future, which will be very exciting for Barcelona supporters all across the world.
Man United sound out £50m rated Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana over a move
Andre Onana has been sounded out about a move to Manchester United as they continue to await a final decision on David de Gea’s future.

De Gea’s contract is due to expire next Friday and United remain in the dark about whether or not his Old Trafford career is in its final stages after 12 years at Old Trafford.
It appeared at one stage that De Gea would be staying with a new deal broadly agreed and United willing to retain the 32 year-old but on lower money than his expiring £375,000-per-week terms.
But no extension has yet been signed and expectation that he would remain at United has lowered since leaving his future in doubt and United in limbo.
All options remain on the table. United remain in dialogue with De Gea and a compromise could still be reached with competition for the Spaniard also brought into Erik Ten Hag’s squad. United chiefs are understood to have held talks with some candidates for a back-up role.

On their books United still have Dean Henderson. He has been on loan at Nottingham Forest but he is due to return to his parent club in pre-season. Forest want to sign Henderson permanently and the two clubs have been in contact regarding the England goalkeeper’s future.
De Gea leaving and United buying a new No.1 is also being considered and Onana, of Champions League runners-up Inter Milan, is a leading contender if they go down that route.
Onana, who was being looked at by Chelsea, will have the backing of United manager Erik Ten Hag, the pair having worked together at Ajax.
Onana, 27, also fits the mould of goalkeeper Ten Hag wants, being more proactive and good with his feet.
Though with United uncertain of how the scenario will play out discussions are thought to have only been tentative at this stage.
Inter want around £50m for Onana but United need to make their budget go far and the final price the Italians settle on will also influence any move for the Cameroon goalkeeper along with De Gea’s situation.
