In this series, I will be talking about Taking advantage of the times and seasons to Creating an enviable future.
SCRIPTURE: Proverbs 24:10-If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.
NB- The day of adversity will come to everyone but your
level of spiritual capacity will determine who wins- whether the wicked ruler
or you. But one thing is sure, and that
is victory is promised to every child of God. All you must do as a child of God
is to ensure you gather enough momentum against the evil day.
Ephesians 6: 10, admonished, Be strong in the Lord and in
the Power of His might. So this is the wayout. Being strong in the day of
battle gives you and I an upper hand over the forces of darkness. So wisdom
demands that, we go to the scriptures and find out, how can one be strong in
the Lord and in the power of His Might? When you get the answers to this
question then you already a step ahead of the wicked rulers. It takes making
discoveries for our recoveries as sons and daughters of God.
Below are ways to
build enough spiritual strength using your time.
1. The knowledge of God. The people who do know their God
shall be strong and shall command exploits
(Dan. 11:32). You must study the word with delight.
2. The Presence of God. Any one carrying God's presence is
encapsulated and insulated against evil . Every devil bows to God's presence
(Romans 8:31, Ps 114:1-8, Ps. 84:7; 96:6)
3. The Word of God. The Word of God is the final authority
of the believer. (Matt. 4:4; Luke 4:4;
1John 2:14; Prov. 10:29). Stay on the word, stick to it till you become the
Word yourself.
4. Waiting on the LORD in prayer, fasting and in kingdom
service. (Isa. 40:31; Matt. 17:21; 1Chron. 16:11, Exodus 23:25-27). Fast, pray,
praise and serve God with a delightsome heart.
