Suleman Dawood went on an expedition to explore the Titanic, which was at the bottom of the sea in a Titanic submersible.

The submersible suffered an implosion which took the life of the teenager, along with his billionaire father, Shahzada Dawood, French explorer, Paul Henri-Nargeolet, British businessman, Hamish Harding, and Stockton Rush, the owner of the company that operates the submersible.

Here are 5 things you did not know about the young teenager:

1. He was terrified before the trip to Titanic. He only went to please his billionaire father, according to his aunt, Azmeh Dawood.

2. He was a student at the University of Strathclyde, and completed his first year at the university's business school.

3. He was from Pakistan, but spent most of his life in Southwest London, Britain along with his family.

4. He was a big fan of science fiction, literature, and learning new things. He also loved Rubik cubes and volleyball.

5. He has a sibling called Alina Dawood. His mother is also called Christine Dawood

According to the British Asian Trust, his death was a big tragedy.

A spokesperson for the trust stated: "We try to find solace in the enduring legacy of humility and humanity that they have left behind and find comfort in the belief that they passed on to the next leg of their spiritual journey hand-in-hand, as father and son"

Pakistan's foreign ministry also reacted to the sad news.

The ministry wrote:  "Our deepest condolences to the Dawood family and the family of other passengers on the sad news about the fate of Titanic submersible in the North Atlantic. We appreciate the multinational efforts over the last several days in search of the vessel".

The Titanic Submersible:

Before the implosion, the submersible was directly above its destination, reports say. It was owned and operated by OceansGate Expeditions and began the trip under the sea on Sunday, 18th June at 4am. It was going 12,500 feet under water. The team lost communication with the mother MV Polar Prince and everything went downhill from there.

RIP to the lost souls.
