An English Premier League club, Manchester City has been ranked as the best club in Europe based on the current UEFA club rankings. The Manchester team had an excellent 2022/23 season when becoming the second club to win the treble. Cityzens won the Champions League after beating Inter Milan 1-0 in the final. Before that, they won the Premier League title for the third consecutive season and also beat Manchester United in the FA Cup final.

According to UEFA's current club ranking of German Bundesliga clubs, Bayern Munich is the second best football club in Europe at the end of the 2022/23 season. The Bavarians won the German Bundesliga title after beating Borussia Dortmund on goal difference on the final day of the season.

Surprisingly, Chelsea is ranked third on the list. The English Premier League team has had an extremely miserable season when they are ranked in the bottom half of the table. However, their performances in European competitions over the last five seasons are the reason why they are at the top of the list.

The fourth best football club in Europe after the end of the 2022/23 season is Liverpool. The Merseyside club are outside the top four of the Premier League for the first time in more than five years after missing out on Champions League spots against Manchester United and Newcastle United. However, they reached the Champions League final in the 2021/22 season and were eliminated by Real Madrid last season.

According to a report, Everton and Fulham are interested in signing Ferdi Kadıoğlu from Fenerbahçe during the summer transfer window.

Operating primarily at right-back, but also capable at left-back, he scored four goals and provided five assists in 48 appearances last season.

Fulham, who have been keeping a close eye on the defender, intend to add him to their squad next season. That is according to Milliyet, who says the London club should fight Everton to sign the 23-year-old.

The report says the Merseyside club are 'prepared to make a serious offer' for the Türkiye international. They say the proposal could be around 20 million euros. This could help the Toffees surpass Marco Silva's side in the transfer race.

Kadıoğlu has a contract until 2026 and it is reported that Golden Submarines want to keep him on their team. At the same time, Milliyet said that its executives could approve the sale for the time being, if there was a compelling proposal.

While Fulham are interested in the player, it remains unclear whether they intend to make an offer to Fenerbahçe.
