A trio of Premier League clubs are interested in signing Eddie Nketiah from Arsenal this summer.
The Hale End Academy graduate nearly left the Gunners last summer before signing a new long-term £100,000-a-week contract.
Nketiah was initially seen as a replacement for Gabriel Jesus following his move from Manchester City, but the Brazil international's three-month absence through injury has ensured the England Under-21 international can feature regularly.
The 24-year-old first impressed with goals against West Ham and Brighton before impressing against Manchester United.
However, after a long absence from scoring, Nketiah was replaced by January signing Leandro Trossard and struggled to make an impact after Jesus returned to full fitness at the end of February.
Mikel Arteta will combine his attacking options again this summer by signing versatile Chelsea striker Kai Havertz, who will complete his move to the capital.
The arrival of the Germany international is said to have a worrying impact on Nketiah who is now unsure of his place in Arteta's squad.
According to The Mirror, three Premier League clubs are said to be monitoring the situation and while the identity of those teams is unknown, clubs including West Ham, Crystal Palace, and Brighton have all tried to sign him in the past.
Arsenal is also facing a difficult decision over the future of Folarin Balogun, who thrived on loan at Reims last season. The striker recently cemented his reputation with an exhilarating debut for the US after pledging his international future to his native country over England.
Arsenal value Balogun at around £40m and the 21-year-old has made it clear he will not return to his hometown club unless he is guaranteed regular first-team football. Arsenal will find it difficult to keep Eddie this summer because the striker seems to know that after the arrival of Kai Havertz from Chelsea, his chances of playing time will be less because Kai can play as a center forward.
