Achraf Hakimi's agent says the defender will consider his options this summer amid speculation that Manchester City have approached the Paris Saint-Germain star.

The 24-year-old has enjoyed another successful season for the French champions - scoring five goals and providing three assists - while also playing in the World Cup for Morocco.

He has now become a summer target for three-time champions City, with Spanish newspaper Marca claiming the Madrid-born Real academy graduate is seen as the ideal successor to Kyle Walker.

The England international has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich while Joao Cancelo is still well off after being loaned out for the second half of last season.

“He has three years on his contract and we want him to be calm. What could happen? I don't know, at some point we will have to sit down with PSG and rethink the situation, but we can see what the club is doing… without a coach right now.

“When PSG have a coach and communicate about the project, we will see. It's one of the best clubs in the world. We'll wait for this to settle down and we'll see.

Managerless PSG have already lost Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos this summer and there is speculation that Kylian Mbappe could be sold if he refuses to extend his contract, with his current contract set to expire later. 12 months when he can go. free transfer.

Marca's report claims that Hakimi is very interested in a possible move to the Etihad, especially after their treble campaign, and he is open to a move. Meanwhile, City are close to agreeing to sign Mateo Kovacic from Chelsea as they are also looking to bring Josko Gvardiol away from RB Leipzig.
