Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool will hold talks with Victor Osimhen this week

This week will be crucial in Manchester United's pursuit of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.

In a remarkable development, Man United, Chelsea and Liverpool are said to have scheduled meetings with their representatives next week.

According to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, who posted it in a tweet, Osimhen will be absent, and three clubs will make the best offer.

Osimhen, who led Napoli to their first Serie A title since Diego Maradona last lifted the trophy in 1990, ended the season with 26 league goals, making him the top scorer. Serie A's top scorer.

Erik ten Hag has made no secret of his desire to bring a new goal threat to Old Trafford this summer, with United keeping an eye on Harry Kane, Rasmus Højlund and Randal Kolo Muani alongside Osimhen. Osimhen is valued at 120 million euros by Napoli - or 104 million pounds - exceeding United's transfer budget by 100 million pounds.

Further complicating matters for United are other clubs in the mix, both desperate for a new striker.

Chelsea and Liverpool, traditionally strong rivals, are looking to consolidate their strength after disastrous seasons and will also hold talks with Osimhen's representatives this week.

Despite these challenges, United will be confident that a deal can be done if the player is available, as neither Chelsea nor Liverpool have a Champions League spot.

The Red Devils have been on high alert since Osimhen met Napoli to decide his future earlier this month, with the club believed to have an advantage over other clubs due to United's attempts to bring him in. to Old Trafford last summer. With the players sure to move this time, the question that needs to be answered is where.
