An image showing the depth of Liverpool's 'disturbing' squad has gone viral, with many fans suggesting a busy transfer window is needed before the league opens in the Premier League on the 13th. August.
Jurgen Klopp's side will play in the Europa League in the coming months after finishing fifth last season.
It has been a difficult campaign hampered by lingering injuries to Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota, while experienced trio Fabinho, Virgil van Dijk and Jordan Henderson - to name a few - have struggled to regain the form of the past years.
Sadio Mane's departure last summer was also a move that caused a stir on Liverpool's side; Not to mention the change of squad and the unstoppable power of defending champion Man City.

In the coming weeks, Liverpool will once again have to act in the transfer market as Roberto Firmino, Naby Keita, James Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain leave at the end of their current contracts. Of course, the Red Devils have been linked with numerous signings, including Celta Vigo midfielder Gabri Veiga, Juventus forward Federico Chiesa and Nice midfielder Khephren Thuram.
But at the time of this writing [June 25] their current squad depth is worrisome, with Fabio Carvalho set to join RB Leipzig on a season-long loan.

Here's how Liverpool fans on social media react to the depth of their squad.
One person said:
"Klopp is about to face some crazy reality next season," while another commented:
"The team is really bad, this summer's transfer market is probably our biggest in 5 years, but we are seeing our burgers disappear after spending 35 million pounds for Mac Allister? Our top four next season is debatable."

The third person wrote:
"This is the biggest transfer window we've had in several years. I've seen complaints about signing only one player so far, but if that means I'll happily wait. Salah, VVD and Alisson are on loan, we can't afford to spoil it again.
The fourth added:
"The smallest team I've seen in over 35 years to support the club, we need five or six players this summer, not two or three."
Fifth person says:
"You can't win titles or get into the top four with this midfielder. Mac Allister will start for City, the other midfielders are the best option for a mid-range club. Even the defense is full of slow players, prone to injuries and falling in form. There is no support for VVD or Ibou when they are injured."

Another commented:
"Europa League squad. There's still a lot of work to be done - four out of five more additions are needed, but I don't have much confidence in the windows that have passed that we will do the right thing."
Konate - prone to injury
Gomez - prone to injury/unstable
Matip - prone to injury
Philips/VDB - Intermediate board level
Thiago - prone to injury
Fab/Hendo - Tired Legs
Elliot/Jones - inconsistent
Morton - Intermediate level
Carvalho - Basement
Any thoughts on the chart above? How many players do Liverpool need to sign this summer to challenge all competitions?
