Nigerian skit maker popularly known by fans and skit lovers as Trinity Guy was in the news a few days ago, after he was invited by the Nigerian police for his prank that went overboard. Trinity Guy is mostly known for his extreme pranks and has gained so much following and audience through this. A few days ago, he posted a video and in the video, Trinity was seen “sexualizing a female minor” according to the police. He was invited over by the police and charged to court. According to one of the police inspectors who have an account on the micro-blogging platform Twitter, after the arrest of Trinity Guy, many citizens brought in their complaints about the extreme pranks of Trinity Guy and how it worries them. The police inspector further revealed that they would charge Trinity Guy to court by all means.

Today, the 26th of February 2023, Trinity Guy appeared before the Oyo Magistrate court and was remanded in custody for “sexualizing a female minor” in one of his skit videos. The news began going viral and various Nigerian news agencies shared them on their various platforms. While others disagreed with his sentience, others also expressed their excitement for his arrest

The news has generated a whole lot of comments and a few of them are highlighted below;

@NoNonsensezone •

“Yorubas always put their own under the bus every

time. Have seen other tribes skit makers done

worse and it's all banter. Yorubas are always the

liberal and the woke and wokeness”.

@damondezo •

“Public disturbance. Check it out. Meanwhile, it

was the one he did with the minor that they used

according to multiple news sources”.

@TheOludami •

“They say it's for sexualizing a minor. I don't understand the prison part tho. It was all acting fgs. Would they send a director to prison if a child acted in a rape scene and said obscene things? He should simply be warned by police to stop and desist. Wish he got a good lawyer”.

@DzRenate •

“There're so many implied laws. The person pranked can sue in tort law. Yep! Someone can develop bp bcos of a prank, get hurt, or even die. Making money from pranking people may look funny but damaging to the victim. No to prank but jailing him might be too harsh. A fine is Ok”.
