When Mason Mount could start work under Mauricio Pochettino after Chelsea transfer message

The future of Mason Mount at Chelsea remains uncertain as Manchester United has had their third bid for the English midfielder rejected. As a result, Mount could potentially stay at Chelsea for the 2023/24 season. The Blues are preparing for their pre-season tour in the USA, and Mount is expected to be part of the squad. However, significant changes are anticipated in the senior group, with players like N'Golo Kante and Kalidou Koulibaly having already departed. Several other key players, including Kai Havertz, Mateo Kovacic, Hakim Ziyech, Edouard Mendy, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, could also be absent from pre-season training as they near moves away from Stamford Bridge.

While Mount's immediate future at Chelsea remains uncertain, the club is currently in discussions with Brighton regarding the potential transfer of Moises Caicedo. Personal terms with the midfielder have reportedly been agreed upon, but reaching an agreement on the transfer fee with Brighton is proving to be a challenge.

If Mount does not leave Chelsea this summer, it could revive interest from Bayern Munich, with manager Thomas Tuchel still keen on signing the talented 24-year-old. Bayern would have the opportunity to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with Mount starting from the January transfer window. However, if he remains at Stamford Bridge until then, other European clubs could also enter the race for his signature, potentially challenging Bayern's pursuit.

The next few weeks will be crucial in determining Mount's future. Should Manchester United fail to submit a fourth bid or Chelsea remain unwilling to entertain offers, the midfielder could end up staying at the London club for another season. This would not only impact United's transfer plans but could also reignite interest from Bayern Munich and potentially attract attention from other European clubs in the following transfer window.
